Asperger Society of Michigan Content Curator

The Asperger Society of Michigan has asked r(e)volving design to develop content for their site. We're looking for some help with that task. The duties of the person or persons we'll enlist in this project will include:

  1. Searching on the Internet and by other means to find service providers, like doctors and support groups, serving specifically persons affected by Aspergers Syndrome, and their families.
  2. Collecting and conveying accurate information about service providers in a designated format, such as address, email and phone numbers, and composing brief descriptions of the services available.
  3. Submitting the information to the web site by completing online forms.
  4. Searching for and submitting information about books of interest to persons affected by Aspergers Syndrome.
  5. Searching for and submitting information about news and developemnts related to Aspergers Syndrome, identifying sources of information.
  6. Specific research and writing assignments as determined the the ASM webmaster

Qualified candidates are...

Legal residents of the state of Michigan, who can demonstrate good writing and communication skills, have Skype accounts for communication with editors, who are knowledgable about the web and how to work with computers (certifiable experience with Microsoft Office programs or similar preferred) and who have active PayPal accounts to which payments can be made.

Accepted applicants will...

...be paid on a set, per piece basis for articles of content that meet editorial standards for accuracy and style. Editorial review and approval will be required for each piece of content before funds will be released. Budget for all work through December may be as high as $1,500, to be distributed across all accepted applicants. We basically intend at this point to identify several qualified applicants, hand out assignments to get everyone started working, and narrow down the field to one or two people, based on performance, who will get the bulk of the remaining work.
